Job Summary

MICDS is accepting applications for a High School Assistant Field Hockey Coach. Applicant must meet State High School Athletic Association requirements for position and Sports First Aid requirement. The ideal candidate will have prior coaching or playing experience, enthusiasm for leading student athletes, and strong athletic and personal references.

This position is a part-time position that is not benefit eligible. However, the position can be combined with a full-time classroom teaching position--in a subject area that coincides with our current needs-in which case a very competitive and extensive benefit package will be included.

Duties Include

• Assist with coordination of the Field Hockey Program, students, and coaches at the high school and middle school level.
• Assist with effectively supervising, designing, and running practices.
• Assist with reinforcing program values through modeling and teaching.
• Travel as needed for out-of-town tournaments.
• Assist with off-season program
• Work with our Head Field Hockey Coach to continue to promote field hockey on our campus which may include summer camp opportunities.
